Exploring Carrier Oils for Massage & Reflexology
TIME: 10am - 5pm
Open to Qualified Massage and Reflexology Therapists.
There are many different carrier/base oils that can be used for bodywork treatments. These oils are extracted from seeds and nuts, and contain many beneficial nutrients.These oils are beneficial for skin health and for the body as a whole.
On the day, we will explore a selection of oils and look at their individual benefits and when best to use them.
We will discover oils such as: Avocado, Peach Kernel, Apricot Kernel, Argan, Jojoba, Walnut, Macadamia, Sunflower, Safflower, Sesame, Castor and many more.
Please note: These oils are not Aromatic essential oils, and therefore are safe for non-Aromatherapists to use.
What to bring:
A small towel
Antibacterial hand gel
If you have any oils that you would like to explore in class, feel free to bring them with you
You will receive a course manual to take home with you and a Nurturing Tranquillity CPD certificate (7 points)
